Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Increafy is a business messaging and engagement tool. Businesses connect their own Instagram professional (Business/Creator) account and/or WhatsApp Business account to Increafy and manage the comments and messages on their own content from a single inbox, including keyword-based automations. We are the data controller for the account data you give us, and a data processor acting on the connected business's behalf for the Instagram and WhatsApp content it manages through us.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, phone number, and password (handled by our authentication provider) when you register.
• Instagram data (via the Instagram API with Instagram Login): when you connect your Instagram professional account, we access your basic account information (Instagram account ID, username, profile picture), your media (posts and reels) with their captions and permalinks, the comments on your media, and the direct messages exchanged with your account — strictly to power the features you enable (inbox, replies, comment automation, messaging).
• WhatsApp data (via the WhatsApp Business Platform / Cloud API): when you connect your WhatsApp Business account through Meta's Embedded Signup, we access your WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, message templates, and the messages exchanged with your customers, to operate your WhatsApp inbox and messaging.
• Access tokens: we securely store the access tokens Meta issues for your connected accounts so we can provide the service on your behalf.
• Business content: products, prices, catalog and storefront content, and orders you create on the platform.
• Payment data: we do not store card, UPI, or bank credentials. Subscription and store payments are processed by our payment processor (Razorpay); we retain only transaction references and order metadata.
• Usage & device data: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and product events, used for security, analytics, and improving the product.

3. We do not use Facebook Login

Increafy does not use Facebook Login and does not request public_profile, email, or any user_* permissions. You sign in with your own Increafy email and password. Instagram is connected using the Instagram API with Instagram Login, and WhatsApp is connected using the WhatsApp Business Platform Embedded Signup.

4. How we use your data

• To display comments and messages from your connected Instagram and WhatsApp accounts in your unified inbox.
• To let you and your authorised team reply to, hide/unhide, or delete comments, and reply to messages, on your own content.
• To run the automations you configure (for example, sending a public reply and/or a private reply when a comment contains a keyword you set).
• To operate your storefront and process orders, where you use those features.
• To provide analytics, customer support, security, and to comply with legal obligations.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

5. Meta Platform data — Limited Use

Our access to, and use, storage, and sharing of, data obtained through the Instagram and WhatsApp APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including all applicable Limited Use requirements. We only access and use Meta data to provide and improve the features you enable, only for businesses that have explicitly connected to Increafy, and only for that connected business's own media, comments, and messages. We never use Meta data for advertising, we never sell it, and we never transfer it except to the sub-processors listed below that are necessary to run the service.

6. How we share data

We share data only with the sub-processors needed to operate the service, under appropriate data-protection agreements, and only where required by law:

• Vercel — application hosting and serverless processing (functions run in the Mumbai, India region).
• Supabase — database and file storage (India region).
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions and store purchases.
• Meta Platforms — the Instagram and WhatsApp APIs that provide the connected-account functionality.
• Email and infrastructure providers — for transactional email, logging, and security.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. We may disclose data if legally required (e.g. a valid legal order), or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

7. Data retention & deletion

We retain your data only while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Disconnecting Instagram or WhatsApp from your settings immediately removes the associated Meta access token and imported content. You can request deletion of your entire account and all associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion page or email vaibhav@increafy.ai. We delete or anonymise your data within 30 days of a verified request, except minimal transaction and invoice records we must retain under Indian tax law.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (and comparable laws such as the GDPR where applicable), you may access, correct, or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email vaibhav@increafy.ai and we will respond within the timelines required by law.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege token storage. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach as required by law.

10. Children

Increafy is intended for businesses and users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
